On the Celtic calendar, September 2 to September 29, is the month of the Vine.
In the Cad Goddeu, the Battle of the Trees, the Vine is ranked a Bramble: VERY WRATHFUL WAS THE VINE WHOSE HENCHMEN ARE THE ELMS, I EXALT HIM MIGHTY TO RULERS OF REALMS.
The Vine is a plant with stem that require support and which climbs by tendrils or trails along the ground.
In God form, the Vine is known as the Celtic (British) tutelary Goddess of
Brigantes in Yorkshire and the Goddess of the rivers Braint and Bret which are named after her. The Goddess Brigania, was also apostoral goddess associated with flocks and cattle. During the Roman occupation she was associated with the Roman Goddess Caelestis, and Caelestis Brigantia.
In the Tarot deck the Vine represents the Major Arcana card, Lovers. The underlying meaning of the Lovers card is that a choice needs to be made and the choice is not likely an easy one. The choice was not of union yet one of division.
A choice must be made to take responsibility for all personal actions. Each
person must make the decision for themselves between two paths.
On the night of the Harvest Moon, lay outside on your back and cross arms across your chest. Stare up at the massive universe. Think about what ought to happen and what might happen if good judgement is not applied to your personal choices. Ask your Spirit Guide for help along your path of self improvement. Ask for secret information be released to bring faith and balance to your mind to achieve personal equilibrium.
Some things in life don't make sense. It has no rhythm, it has no reason, but when this life is completed, each piece will find its place. Every experience fits.
Ride the ups, flow with the downs, enjoy the turn arounds. In the end you'll know and have peace of mind, that all works out.
