MABON SEPTEMBER 21

Mabon, the Vernal Equinox, or Equal Night is the official beginning of autumn. Annually on this date in the Northern Hemisphere, faces the Sun and receive equal amounts (12 hours each) of daylight and darkness.
Mabon, September 21st, marks the second and final time (the first was March 21st) each year that day and night are of equal in length. The autumn day's grow shorter, the nights longer. Now, is the time when the Earth prepares for the departure of the sun's abundant light, warmth, and growth. The planet enters the time when the darkness takes over the light. Tuning into the seasonal activities, the wheel of life connects one with the universal rhythm. Life is continuously changing, evolving, dieing, and being re-born. Summer is fading. In the orchards apples dangle, red, gold and ripen. Harvesting the vegetables begins, with tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, beans, potatoes, corn, and all the rest pouring from the garden. We reap what we have sown.
Time has come to transform your alter for the Sabbat Mabon.

Place squash, acorns, colourful Indian corn, wheat, and apples in a basket on the floor at the base.
A Mabon ritual:
Outside, with nature stand, facing north. Try to breathe out longer, then when you inhale to relax. With your hands out in front and palms face the earth, invoke the Guardian of the North quarter, "Spirit of Earth, I call upon you to protect and guide. Turn toward the east and raise your hands slightly higher, elbows bent. Hands and palms face away from you. Spread your fingers wide apart and invoke the Guardian of the east quarter. "Spirit of Water, I call upon you to protect and guide." Then turn south. Straighten your elbows and raise your arms over your head, placing your hands in a tight fist. Invoke the Guardian of the South quarter. "Spirit of Fire, I call upon you to protect and guide. Turn west, with arms extended, cup your hands, and invoke the Guardian of the west quarter. "Spirit of the Air, I call upon you to protect and guide." Return north and speak to your Spirit Guide. "My Spirit Guide, I call upon you now. Let your precious light energy join mine. Reveal knowledge you hold, for me to achieve personal contentment." Stand and listen, for a voice unlike your own. The answer should come to you, but it might take time.
Thank your Spirit Guide and the Guardians of the Four Quarters, "Thank you. Farewell go in peace." Slowly move west, south, east, returning north absorbing the energy to close your circle.
The information I was given---For every ending, there is a new beginning. Thoughtfulness, imagination, and affection will keep one company, when one feels alone. Complaints, loneliness, and impatience offer no gains. Jealously, self-hatred will destroy from the inside, out. Tremendous opportunities appear, when one sees their self worth and express true love.
