The Oak Tree
On the Celtic calendar, the Oak tree represents June 10 to July 7. During the Battle of the Tress in 400 BC, the Cad Goddeu, the Oak tree was ranked as Chiefton: THE OAK TOPS ENTANGLED, THERE IS HOPE FOR THE TREES.
The bark, wood, leaves, buds and acorns could be used in spells which concern fertility, balance, protection and success. The leaves can be burned for purfication, the acorns to draw wealth or love divination. The wood could be burned to attract good health.
In the Tarot deck, the Oak tree is connected with the Major Arcana card, the Emperor. The Emperor has learned to take command in an intellectual manner. With reason, the Emperor creates order out of chaos and dictates regulation. The Emperor is a guide in logical matters, a protector and a provider. The Emperor understands through experience what can be controlled, and what can not be controlled and how to adapt.
SUGGESTED ACTIVITY
The sun positioned at high noon, lay outside on you back, with eyes closed.
Spread your arms and legs slightly apart to design the commanding and power-ful pentacle stance. Absorb the rays into your body. Feel the breeze across your face. Allow your Spirit Guide know what you're chosen actions are to over come practical and personal problems to reach potential. You are what you think you are.
Think about what you've accomplished to regulate your response and reach a positive outcome for all concerned. Acknowledge your own personal development in the process.
I trust your experience with the sun's energies will be exhilarating
