Rituals in December take introspective turn. Meditate on what you have done in the previous year. Honor death and dormancy as natural parts of the cycle along with life and growth. Admire the splendor of sunlight on the snow and ice. If you are hanging birdfeeders and putting out water, add a charm.
December is a time of transformation and rebirth. Celebrate the Sun's return by decorating your home with evergreen boughs, a Yule log, and a small evergreen tree. You may want to include a wreath to represent the wheel of the year. Cook up some Yule tide treats, play Celtic music, and invite friends and family over.

Transformation & Rebirth
Cover your altar with a green cloth and place upon it a variety of fresh evergreen along with two candles, red and green. Light the candles. Now, pull the red candle toward you, and say, The Shadow Time passes, the Dawning Time, returns." Blow out the candle, relight the wick, and move it back into place. Bring the green candle toward you, death passes, life returns." Blow out the green candle, relight the wick, and move the green candle back in place.
This ritual is preformed to get through the darkness, because eventually we will see the sunlight and warmth again.

Personalities are pulled between two equally competitive modes of expression (one more direct and conscious and related to the Self; the other more habitual and unconscious, due to the intuitive influence). The struggle to gain balance can bring about illumination, a person is able to develop self/intuition polarity in enlightening fashion. The downside is a feeling of always being pulled apart in two directions and be off center in relationships and other situations.
The Full Moon is always about illumination, endings, eruptions, conclusions, and resolutions. Tensions come to a head or is released. This is a good time to reflect on the meaning of the month-long cycle and gain perspective. With Uranus influence this Full Moon cycle expect the unexpected in your life. Depending on where Uranus falls in you birth chart will effect the surprising occurrence that will happen. The exception proves the rule - in this case not expected.
The Full Moon in Cancer puts people right on the front when it comes to the battle of trying to develop a sense of emotional security. Emotional concentration is not without humor. There is a caring, tender, nurturing side to people, even sizzle for some. Some people might have a more hominess about them. The Full Moon can get caught up in dependencies, exhibited by clinging and whining, that can drive people away. This is a time one might find themselves caught up in family-related dramas that must work extra hard to reprogram themselves from the past. They have not always healthy habit of judging current and future experiences by the past, and this can limit growth and how they relate to the outer world.
The Full Moon in Cancer, the lunar influence is doubly strong, but often works on the principle of "two negatives make a positive" thus bringing out all the better qualities.
