Enchantment, Ripeness, and Wisdom
My manuscript, “The Enchanted Snare" is divided into the four seasons, "Dawning Time; Time of Light; Time of Harvest and Shadow Time.
My magick and realism story, The Enchanted Snare” provides an intriguing exploration into the the Major Arcana or trumps of the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck and the beliefs, customs and mythology of Witchcraft. Witchcraft is one of the oldest Nature faiths on our planet. Witches roots are planted in Paganism practice. Our theory and practise is not to master the natural world, yet to coexist.
The witchy story, The Enchanted Snare combines the Celtic tree hierarchy personalities with the symbolism of the Major Arcana or trumps of the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck equivalent to correspond with the reconstruction of Celtic mythology, "Cad Goddeu: The Battle of the Trees" into a one month at a time program of instruction directed to teach the witches to understand themselves on a more emotional, spiritual, mental and physical level.
This story is the account of eight female witches who meet almost every Saturday at the Mysticism School for Witches, to be schooled in witchcraft - Earth faith as part of their transition from childhood into maidenhood known as coming of age. The witches gather at the exact same time, beneath the Full Moon, and the seasonal changes for the same purpose, to attract peace, and a brighter future for themselves, others, and planet earth.
It’s been forty-six-days since Avril attended the Mysticism School for Witches. Now, returning Avril and her friends can meet and spend time with prospective suitors.
Corina believes her childhood crush will choose her. Lilith definitely disagrees, and will do anything to capture his heart - even if it means dabbling in the black arts.
To enchant is a term derived from the Latin fascinare and used as a general term for the act of casting spells or throwing the evil eye on another person. In medieval literature, a person 'fascinated' was usually under a spell.
Attending the Mysticism School for Witches, might be transformative for you, the reader. The Enchanted Snare is story with an instructional method that can help the reader to become acquainted with the Major Arcana in the Tarot cards and be more witchlike. In the name of spiritual development, invest in the process one chapter at a time. What you learn might open your heart and mind to a new way of knowing.
