The sword represents the tongue. Words, either destructive or constructive, are involved in the situation. Since the sword is held firm in her hand, it indictes boldness, courage, strife, worry or getting the upper hand. The Daughter of the Lord of Truth had it upliftd to represent degense of Justice. The swords also represent the rigors of the law. It can mean the elimination of outgrown thought forms.
Justice has two aspects, the outer which rules our moral and social life, and the inner which rules are consciousness. Our judgements about ourselves emanate outward. We receive the kind of treatment we think we deserve.
