Dice decisions are simple and quick. Even if you have nothing definite to settle, a throw of the dice will give you an idea of what to expect in the near future. It is considered unlucky to try the dice on Monday or Wednesday.
"A reading true I seek to find, and take what comes with quiet mind." Lightly toss the dice out on a table or ground. Count the total of the numbers exposed and read according to the following list.
Three A pleasant surprise
Four An unpleasant surprise
Five You meet a stranger who will become a friend
Six You will loose something shortly
Seven Scandal will touch you
Eight You will be justly blamed for something that is past
Nine A wedding is near at hand
Ten A christening will prove momentous to you
Eleven Death to someone you know
Twelve A letter of importance will arrive soon
Thirteen You will sigh and shed tears
Fourteen A new admirer
Fifteen Take care, keep out of trouble that threatens
Sixteen A happy journey
Seventeen Profitable business on, or to come true within nine days
Eighteen Some great good is coming to you
Dice prophecies are said to always come true within nine days. If a dice lands far way from you foretells a quarrel. If one dice falls on the top of the another, you will receive a present which is not altogether to your advantage and might be best to refused.
