The key to emotional growth is knowing one can only change their responses. Others can be guided, yet they too have a choice of free will.
Anger erupts from inside when one believed someone or something will act in a certain way only to find that a different action backed the promise, word or deed and now one is left alone feeling let down. That is the birth of resentment, in time the seed will fiercely burst into anger.
People will come and go in our lives, always there to teach us a lesson while living the experiences. Some bring pleasure, others great pain that cause wounds to our pride scarring us forever deep inside.
When carrying around bitterness and anger in ones heart will only eat you up inside. Never will you forget what they did nor should you. It was a lesson you needed to learn.
Take action assertively from an open heart, not aggressively from a closed heart. A closed heart encourages one to act vindictively, belittling to prove the other is wrong. Walk away and cool the fire within. Return and listen then make a conscious effort to be fair. This is anger with an open heart.
One should have realistic expectations of people and situations. Know their limitations, open your eyes, step back and see them for the way they truly are and not just the way you wish it to be for only then will accomplish balance.
There is a fine line between anger and joy. To build emotional equilibrium within one must free themselves from the bondage of anger and release the false illusions which holds one captive.
Break the chains that binds, and see the situation with clear sight. When one limits their thinking it leads to failure because you create emotional restrictions. Go with the flow of life, have faith and realistic expectations. Contentment does not come from the absence of anger, but how you deal with the strong unsettling feelings.
Surrender the burdens, admit mistakes and see people and situations for the way they truly are. Allow the ones who cause grief and despair be. Believe the great powers of the universe will never let you down. Everything comes in time, have patience. In the end people always receive their deserved prize.
Learn every moment lived, harming none intentionally, the conscious will be clear of any wrong doing. People will always turn to where the strongest emotional bonds are created. Be true to the ones you hold dear, they won't let you down. Leave the rest be.
In a social setting if you must deal with someone who's anger disrupts your life be respectful (say hi) and move on. No where is it written you must stick around and talk.
I know it's hard to control the rage inside that can boil and erupt. I vent my dislikes with the people I trust and care for and who trust and care for me. I suggest you do the same")
