Beltane, wise women honour the union of the Goddess, God and Moon and Sun, and all they produce together.
Drape the alter in a clean green cloth. Decorate and scatter with both wild and garden flowers. A vase of daffodils encourages a blessing from the fairies. Dust candles, as well as the elemental tools and return them to their proper position.
Wake at daybreak, go outside and listen to the birds welcome a new day. Slash morning dew on your face to enhance natural beauty. Dew's origin is hard to define. Although it is water, it does not come from the river, stream or sea, but from air. Dew is so magical; it does not flow with gravity but forms on the leaf or a blade of grass. Arriving at dawn and staying only a short while, the dew disappears. Wise women believe the substance is a border the fairies use and holds great magical qualities. Dew can be gathered for potions, spells and charms.

The eve of Beltane, focus your heart and mind on what you want to attract. Lift your arms above your head, fingers spread, legs shoulder width apart, and say aloud:
Hail, Spirit Guide, I stand before you, clear mind, clear heart, open to new growth.A new season has sprung. Release the painful memories of love gone weary.
I am now open, ready and willing to receive love from any source that is beneficial to me.
Help me be what I want to attract.
Please, bend, turn or shape at your will.
