The Willow Tree

On the Celtic calendar, the Willow tree represents April 15 to May 12.  In the Battle of the Trees, The Cad Goddeu, the tree is ranked as the twelfth Chiefton:

WILLOW AND ROWAN TREE ARE TARDY IN ARRAY.

The branches, leaf and bud can be used for moon magic, contacting  spirit and the the besom to clear away any form of negativity.  The Willow tree in the Tarot deck is connected to the Major Arcana card, the Moon; the memory from the subconscious is released. That which is kept hidden rises, rearing its ugly head once again.

The waxing and waning of the moon symbolically show the highs and lows of  woman's cycle.  The Full Moon is a time to reflect then release the deception of false emotions leading you astray from the path of true self.

SUGGESTED ACTIVITY

Journey beneath the fullness of bright light of the coming Full Moon at the witching hour and ask Spirit Guide to help balance the feeling of fear and to stir the imagination.

Spirit Guide will listen and would give clarity and an opporunity to free the heart and remove stagnation that may hinder growth.  Request from Spirit Guide a new emotional response, an emotional change and to support with the task of balancing inside anger or depression.
